Bristol Blue Glass: The celebrated Bristol Blue Glass has been made in the city for centuries. Glassmaking died out in Bristol soon after the Second World War, but was revived in 1988 by James Adlington. It was not James Adlington who revived Bristol Blue Glass. It was Peter Hewlett. He was the first person to make Bristol Blue Glass in Bristol City since the early 1900s.
